There is a body of water known as Nigeen Lake.

Nigeen Lake, also known as the "Jewel in the Ring," is a stunning lake situated in Srinagar City. A thin causeway separates it from Dal Lake, making it a popular tourist destination with numerous houseboats gently floating on its serene waters. Nigeen Lake, located at the foothill of the Zabarwan Mountain, is an ideal spot for swimming. It offers a less crowded and deeper alternative to Dal Lake, with which it is connected by a thin causeway. While there, visitors may also want to check out the nearby Hazratbal Mosque in Srinagar, adding to the charm of this beautiful blue water lake.


Hazratbal Shrine

The Hazratbal Shrine holds significant cultural and religious importance as a sacred monument. The Hazratbal Shrine, located across from the Nishat Bagh and along the shores of Dal Lake, holds great significance as it preserves the sacred hair of Prophet Mohammad, known as Moi-e-Muqqadus. This revered shrine is widely visited by both Hindus and Muslims in Srinagar.

Shankaracharya Temple

The peak of Shankaracharya Hill On the south lies Shankaracharya Hill, while Hari Parbat encloses the west side of Nigeen Lake, providing spectacular vistas for visitors. Surrounding the lake are majestic willow and poplar trees, with an abundance of houseboats and shikaras floating along its tranquil waters.   • 10% cancellation charges if cancelled 30 days before the tour.
  • 25% cancellation charges if cancelled between 30 – 20 Days before the tour.
  • 50% cancellation charges if cancelled between 19 – 10 Days before the tour.
  • No refund will be made if cancelled 10 days before the tour.
